( to quote their website, “ Edmund Burke School was founded in 1968. 1968!” ). about 70 of the students were participating in a day of silence in honor of GLBT students around the world - luckily, they were assured before our show that they were allowed to laugh out loud. LOL, indeed. thanks, EBS!

the vegan crab rangoon was really quite good, i thought, but my curry tofu balls were a kind of bizarre chinese falafel, and my fake beef tasted like a cinnamon roll and made me feel bad. try as we might, we still can’t beat boston’s the grasshopper

next time we’re in richmond, though, we’ll probably go back there. maybe it was just a fluke - right? RIGHT?!?!

all in all, though - great show, up in a terrace room at the top of their student center. diana, jen, and the rest of the gang were the best of help. sadly, when for some reason we started talking about the word “plethora”, and i asked how many people in the audience had seen !three amigos!, only 3 people out of about 150 raised their hands. what is this world coming to?!?!
